About Ann White
Ann White is a native Floridian, enchanted with its balmy days, its surrounding waters and its active bird life.
A former journalist, Ann has written in just about every genre including news writing, feature writing for trade and consumer magazines, organizational newsletters, public relations and ad copy, grant-writing and web content.
Her writing covers topics as diverse as debt management, business philosophy and occupational profiles to wedding planning, bird watching and travel guides. Ann is a master at writing the brief how-to piece along with process manuals.
A published poet, Ann has been honored with a Pushcart Prize nomination and her poetry anthologized.
She has acted as judge in national competitions for play writing, short stories and novel writing.
Among her accomplishments, Ann was publisher of a monthly specialty newspaper with a focus on women business owners. She also edited and published a literary anthology with submissions by international college students.
Her experience also extends to pre-publishing. For nine years, Ann owned and operated a graphic design business, working with small print shops, national non profit organizations and academic institutions.
